“Sultry but mellow” are a few words that come to mind when you hear the voice of vintage songstress Raena Ophelia Simmons. She’s alluring and is evocative of a lounge jazz singer from the 1940’s. Described to contrast between velvet tones to dulcet tones, she’s been compared to the likes of Billie Holiday, Julie London and Peggy Lee.
Raena's band consists of the finest professionally trained local talent in Perth. Band personnel can range from duo to quintet (and everything in between) to provide you with various band/instrument combinations to best suit your event.
The most frequent booking is for the Ophelia Cocktail Jazz Trio. Consisting of vocals, piano and bass, the Ophelia Cocktail Jazz Trio provides that finishing touch of elegance to your ornate celebration. If you are looking to book for a more intimate performance then the Ophelia Jazz Duo is a perfect choice.
Please contact Raena for more information of different band set-ups and pricing.
